Ann (?), USA: 'Metaview 1' exercise signifies contentment, confidence, pleasure and a completeness I envied. 'Metaview 2' exercise: Envelopes struggle, satisfaction, and an inherent search for personal knowledge. From the collection of things personal to yourself, I instinctively felt comfort, reliability and security. Someone with those items, together, would make a very good, listening friend....

Carl (39), Belgium: I feel like a surfer. My life took a tremendous pace since we met and I just have to follow and steer well. Or put it another way: it's like navigating your life in the jet stream at 40.000 feet (13.000 m) altitude. I don't have the impression I have to work harder, I have to do less. With this system, I understand what's happening and it frightens me no more to make decisions, it's just delightful.

Helen (56), Holland: this damn Rik with his Matrix stuff. In the session, I became totally confused with all that chaos coming out of my life. But he was not impressed, showed me the red tread and switched me from seeing difficulties into looking at my talents. Thanks for the next coming upbeat period of time. Ouhff.
Ilse (26), Belgium: in the beginning I didn't believe much of it. It sounded so weird and I was a little restless in the first session, afraid of what would come in the open. But Rik showed me to look with more consideration, being milder for yourself. I start to love myself now.
Ilse 2 (30), Belgium: I cried during most of the first session, but it was great. Afterwards, I started to like my life. It isn't a bunch of accidental coincidences, it's like a mountain river: wild but contained.
Ilse 3 (20), Belgium: 2 years ago, I got almost every phobia that exists. I didn't dare anything anymore, even going to school was difficult and I hated the life I lived. After trying several therapies, I met Rik. By talking, in his matrix work and with guided imagery exercises in the sessions, I regained almost normal life after only 3 months and left therapy a month later. I have no fear anymore and I am free and happy again. Thanks for my new life... I enjoy it!
Added 1 month later: Hello Rik, just a small mail to let you know everything is fine. You know the school trip by coach to Barcelona? It was marvellous and I enjoyed it to the bottom. The long one-day trip back was a peace of cake. I have to get used to it, daring again all those things a girl of 20 normally simply does. I did it!

I am currently reading (slowly because I am from North America and do tend to think I should "understand" instantly...hehehe) about the family genealogy. I think this would be worth while to look into. I will call my daughter's grandmother tonight and get the birthdays of her family members on her fathers side. And your 3.2 year theory. I may also try to find some extra time to start assembling my life chart. I will be unpacking years of journals in a few months, so I have a written record of my life "events" from the past 20 or so years. I used to really get lost in your site, now I am getting the hang of it. My compliments again to your reorganisation Rik.

Julia (46), Belgium : it was very interesting to see my connections with my grandmother. A lot fell in place. I have more peace now and am doing my thing. And amazingly, my granddaughter is born at the same line as well.
Koen (28), Belgium: it was a great assurance that the main cycle is switching for everybody (now May-June 2000 - just at the beginning of the new cycle). My life is just taking a mayor turn into the unknown and this work system makes it much easier to let go the old patterns in my life and to step really through 'the door'. The fact that I don't have anything to loose helps me in avoiding 'negative choices' about the future. It gives me more peace and serenity. Clear, useful information.
Linda (?), Canada: I understood very little about your 3.2 theory, although I agree with it. I'm cogitating on it, letting it stew and see where it takes me. I saw little that would tell me what the therapeutic value in doing this was, and maybe that is the reason that I was less motivated to understand it all.
Rik's comment: It is obvious that a simple mail is unsuitable to clarify a very complicated subject to someone who is probably just marginally interested. It is complicated but very detailed, I hope to visit that site many, many times so that I can learn much more about life cycles. Just wanted to let you know that I think is amazing, very comprehensive, detailed and remains interesting because of the little comments here and there. Keep up the great work.. Myrt (?), USA: I have been trying to create a "timeline" of my life starting with the "highlights" or largest events and then fill in with others. I didn't really know why I wanted to do this, but I felt I needed to and then ..... hmmm.... I stumble onto your website......... One of my purposes was to try to fill in blank areas in my memory and organize my memories in the proper order. So I am eagerly appreciating your information. Looking at that picture of you kneeling on the floor with ALL those pieces of paper around you made me smile... of course you know people think people like us are crazy......... I too have the gift/burden of being interested in too many things. You should see my list of Internet bookmarks/favorites!
Pat (?), USA: Thank you for your quick response.. There are not a lot of "life giving" web sites out there and yours is one of them. That someone would take the time out of a busy life to respond gives me hope for mankind. I like to think of web sites as having "mass" and that when enough sites produce enough "life giving mass" then perhaps the scales will be tipped in favor of the continuation of mankind on planet earth. Phyllis (58), Bermuda: I think your cycles materials are right on the money.. I think people have to look at the world in a different manner ..maybe as if it were an extention of oneself. Perhaps the closer connection..knowing it really is part of who we are might have a bearing. Have no idea how to do this, however.
I do think that energy exists everywhere..and it moves whether we see it or know. We have the right not to take for granted news reports, not to believe the fostering garbage that is heaved daily to news listeners, to think differently about what one hears..and know, in the scheme of things, whatever problem is in front of you daily... is only an opportunity to challenge yourself to make the best choice for the moment. I just love reading your material as it enhances my desire to look at the world differently, and take into the account events such as you write. I will keep watching.Rik (55), Belgium: it took me (yes me, the author myself) a whole month before I understood myself my long term life cycles. Very weird to see your life exposed before your nose and slowly, the image got clearer and clearer. Until finally, the symbolic language broke through as with a landscape in the morning fog.
