Today, I bought
for a mere song a fine typevriter on the second-hand market. One of those
good ol', sturdy Undervood machines. Almost as nev and vithout a scratch!
I am really, really proud of it! Indestructible, stable, old-fashion and real. It vas for me a victory to decide finally to start vriting as I dreamed of it for years. I have to do the vriting on a typevriter because all those nev hush-posh computers, that's nothing for me. I vould certainly not be able to learn to use such an expensive, complicated, fragile thing.
So, here I sit, happily vriting along. The only problem is that the "v" of veather does not vork properly. But that's no problem at all, I simply use instead the "v". It is quite a nice machine for such a s¶all price ..oops.. there goes another character (the "n" of nother has been blocked). Vell, I vill use instead the "n" for it. Nobody vill be enbarrassed by that. It is real nice to vork vith such a good peace of equipnen¶.. oops.. anodher characder goes. Vell, I have do dhink vhad I an going do do vidh all dhis....
