More integration
of the Shadow: what is negativity?
Negativity
is having an negative attitude against a subject, creating a barrier
between you and this item, feeling resistance, being unclear, showing dishonesty,
trying to hide, inflict pain, experience conflict and so forth.
I found out some time ago that
'negativity' is only negative if you experience the above. Once you set your
'negativity' openly in the world, tell about it, take your responsability
for it, talk about the life lessons you learned from it, this
'negativity', changes polarity.

By integrating my shadow and telling
about its life and energy, I become open to my surrounding world. Barriers
fall, life and love energy starts flowing. People feel secure and become curious
in reading my articles or listening to me. By opening up to the world, the
people and talking about my mistakes, misbehaviour, pain and sorrow that EVERYBODY
knows first hand, I get recognised and seen in my talkings.
Curiosity and doubt are two polarities
of the same energy. When somebody is hesitant and in doubt about a certain
choice, psychic pain is experienced and fear is felt to make the 'wrong' choice.
Doubt is per definition difficult, unpleasant and at it can litteraly tear
yourself to pieces. It can be expressed by ?-?-?...
a doubt creates pain,
pain creates more doubt and so forth.
Curiosity on the other hand is the same
energy but glued together by a positive and open attitude. Being curious means
looking around, have question marks in your head, trying to solve something,
putting things together instead of separating, connecting instead of dividing.
It can be expressed by ?+?+?....
However, when one is in doubt and, at
the same time, opens up completely by NOT pushing the negative events away
(= opening your shadow), the inner conflict seems to evaporate. The question
marks, the 'quest attitude' starts to 'assemble' information, feelings and
behaviour towards the problem at hand. As you circle the item, investigate,
assemble multiple views of it; the 'problem' often solves itself often miraculously
and one or more 'solutions' pop up.
An example: a person who hates
to clean up or to arrange his room has usually a rather untidy environment.
It's all over the place, items are difficult to trace, generating stress when
one can't find them. It's obvious that this resistance to cleaning it up creates
more unpleasant feelings, his room becomes more messy and untidy and so forth...
Once he decides to start cleaning up, the tension relaxes, it becomes even
pleasant to throw away old, finished matters and once done, an almost exuberant
feeling is the outcome. Result: the room is neat, his feelings upbeat and
rewarding. The negative attitude is transformed into a positive one = much
less stressing AND the room is neat as well!
Once you open yourself up to other people
and your own 'negative' life parts or circumstances, this inner conflict is
solved. Period.
